Description
Native to Africa, the African Pike Characin is a freshwater fish species with an elongated, slender body and pointed snout, similar to a pike. They are predatory fish, capable of growing up to 80 cm (32 inches) in the wild, although the average size is around 30-40 cm (12-16 inches). Adequate swimming space is necessary for this species in aquariums, making them unsuitable for small tanks.
