Atabapo Red Pike Fish

Crenicichla lugubris, a cichlid species, is indigenous to South America. Its natural habitat includes the Amazon River basin, specifically the Branco, Negro, and Uatumã rivers in Brazil. Additionally, it can be found in the Essequibo and Branco rivers in Guyana, as well as the Corantijn River in Suriname. With a maximum length of 32.9 cm (13.0 in), this species is known for its size and impressive presence.
