Description
The electric eel, scientifically known as Electrophorus electricus, is a fish capable of generating an electrical discharge. With the ability to produce up to 600 volts, they are the champions among fishes with this ability. It's no wonder their scientific name includes the term "electricus." Electric eels typically inhabit muddy waters.
