Description
Flying Fox (Epalzeorhynchos kalopterum) is an omnivorous minnow species native to Thailand, Malaysia, and parts of Indonesia. Renowned in the aquarium hobby for its vibrant coloration, active behavior, and appetite for green algae, this species has long been popular among enthusiasts. While primarily herbivorous, it exhibits gregarious behavior as a juvenile but tends to become solitary as it matures. Within a group, a distinct hierarchy forms, and maintaining a group of fewer than 6 specimens in a spacious tank may lead to stress and aggression.
