Description
"P. baileyi, also known as the Hairy Puffer, is a freshwater fish species that can grow up to 12 centimeters (4.7 inches) in length. It is easily identifiable by its unique epidermal outgrowths, or cirri, which may be sparse or dense on its head and body. These cirri are more prominent in juveniles and may become less noticeable as the fish matures. P. baileyi has a golden or orange abdomen with no other markings and lacks scales like other pufferfish, making it particularly sensitive to water quality."
