Description
L007 Vampire Pleco
All species of Leporacanthicus share a common characteristic—a small, slightly raised, blunt thorn-like plate on the top of their heads, facing backward.
When it comes to differentiating between L007 (L. cf. galaxias) and L029 (L. galaxias), there are a few key distinguishing features. L007 has a higher dorsal fin compared to L029, meaning the fin on its back extends further upward. Additionally, L007 has a shorter snout, giving its face a distinct appearance. Another notable difference is the size of the spots found on their bodies, with L007 having larger spots in comparison to L029. These variations help in distinguishing between the two species.
