The Short tail Thai Oranda Goldfish is a variety of coldwater fish belonging to the species Carassius auratus auratus, commonly known as Goldfish. These fish, along with other Goldfish varieties, have originated from China and Japan in Asia, but are now found all around the globe. In the past 5 years, the demand for Oranda Goldfish has grown substantially, and it is easy to see why.
The fish's unique crown and vibrant colors make it an attractive addition to any aquarium or pond. While their body size and coloring are similar to that of the Veil Tail Goldfish, the Oranda Goldfish boasts an incredible crown on top of its head.
