Corydora

Freshwater cory, also known as corydoras, are a popular group of small, peaceful, and sociable fish commonly kept in freshwater aquariums. They are native to South America, where they are found in rivers, streams, and ponds. These fish are bottom-dwellers and are well-known for their habit of rooting around in the substrate for food. They come in a variety of colors and patterns and are often kept in groups of at least six to promote social behavior. Freshwater cory are relatively easy to care for and can thrive in a well-maintained aquarium with suitable water parameters and a balanced diet of high-quality fish food.
