The Albino Cherry Barb (Puntius titteya) is a small, peaceful, and colorful freshwater fish that is commonly kept in home aquariums. They are native to Sri Lanka and prefer warm, well-planted, and slightly acidic water conditions.
The Cherry Barb has a bright, cherry-red coloration on its body, with a silver-white underside and black markings on its fins. Males tend to be more brightly colored than females and also have a deeper red coloration. They can grow up to 2 inches in length and have a lifespan of around 3-5 years.
Cherry Barbs are hardy fish and can adapt to a range of water conditions. They are also easy to care for, making them an excellent choice for beginner fish keepers. They are omnivorous and will eat a variety of foods, including flakes, pellets, and live or frozen foods.
Cherry Barbs are social fish and should be kept in groups of at least 6 individuals.
